In sign of the 100th anniversary since Domingo Esteso established our workshop in 1915 the in-flight magazine “Iberia Excelente” published a long and very visual article about our past and also about our future.
The editor, Jesús Huarte paid us a visit together with his art director Antonio Gálvez a few months ago. He interviewed Felipe, Maria and Felipe Jr. As it couldn´t be any other way, in this article, as previously in the “Fuera de Serie” magazine, we presented the “Centenary” model; it was photographed in detail by Antonio Galvez.
Felipe Maria and Felipe Jr. talked about the history of the family tradition, the process of guitar building, the wood we use, and of course about the artists that have historically played or still play our guitars. They also reflected on the future of the workshop which is going through a transformation.

Note: The Centenary guitar is based on a guitar built by Domingo Esteso in 1928 and not in 1915 as the article states. When Maria Conde mentions a guitar from 1921, she is referring to a guitar built by Domingo Esteso, not her grandfather Mariano Conde Salamanca as stated in the article.
