María and Felipe Conde Jr. were glamed up and pampered by Vanity Fair Spain for the article written about them by Virginia Galvín for the magazine´s Celebutants section which reports about up-and-coming, young individuals who happen to do interesting things. Felipe Jr. and María have been fully incorporated at their father´s workshop for over a year now and have so far built several guitars developing their individual styles while receiving instruction from their father who has spent most of his time in the last year or so teaching them art of guitar building. Maria and Felipe talked to Virginia Galvín about how building guitars first struck their fancy, about their experiences with great artists who passed through the successive workshops, and what it means to them to carry on this great legacy.
We would like to thank Vanity Fair and the whole crew who engaged us in this once in a life time experience. It was a great deal of fun to be pampered by the magazine´s top professionals during the entire day. The organization was fantastic and the whole experience entirely unique!
The article can be found in the Vanity Fair Spain's May issue, it is available on all the kiosks throughout the country. Photography by Martín Sonzogni.
